A project by Jason Flynn from Flynn Architect, this Canadian contemporary home ended up having several open plans with a lot of vibrant colors and elements. One of those elements were the plum pendant lighting fixtures featured in this very modern kitchen.

Architect Jason Flynn, has a flair for integrating new homes into old neighborhoods and ended up designing an efficient and contemporary environment for this new home that perfectly reflects the family’s personality. This light-filled home features vibrant details that bring beauty and warmth to every room, such as the plum pendant lamps in the kitchen and the colorful rug you can see below!

The pendant lamps featured in the open spaced kitchen are from Niche Modern. Their colorful glass complements the warm, purple accents found throughout the interior, bringing a sense of balance to the space.

“The room might have been too stark without the walnut,” Flynn tells Ottawa Magazine. “But the wood and the little pop of color from the pendant lights keep things warm.”
