Kosh: When Great Food and Great Contemporary Lighting Come Together

Miami-based Agsia Design Group carried out this commercial project in the most sophisticated and amazing way. By the end of their intervention, Kosh Restaurant in Surfside, FL was completely transformed and now boasts several contemporary lighting designs that we all wouldn’t mind taking home.

Comissioned and finished in 2015, Kosh’s interior by Agsia Design is still a sophisticated and classy commercial space where one can enjoy great food, whilst admiring great lighting designs. You can take their 360º tour here!

It’s with a classy and very sober interior design that we are greeted when entering the restaurant. Neutral tones such as beige, white and brown are everywhere, balanced by the indigo mirrored wall and the mid-century tangerine sofas around the room. The star of the show? The seven Coltrane mid-century suspension lamps in the middle of the dining room.

A more focused view of the Coltrane suspension lamps by DelightFULL. A minimalist and very mid-century lighting design piece that totally puts together the design and creates a soothing light perfect for a late night dinner.

Books fill up the walls for a more toned down, casual look. This allows for an atmosphere that is both very inviting at the same time the minimalist decor creates a sense of exclusivity.
