Today we bring you a new company from New Zealand:  Workroom design. Prepare yourself for lighting NZ!

Douglas and Bec started its business in 2006 and it is already an award-winning company with a global following. They combine innovation practices with manufacturing techniques and use American ash and oak, copper, brass, hand-blown glass and natural leather in their products. They also run a fabulous little retail store in Auckland called Douglas & Bec, which stocks their own designs and other like-minded finds such as the South Australian design duo Daniel:Emma.

Back in 2012, they’ve crossed the Tasman Sea and opened a showroom in Melbourne. It helped them a lot with their Australian operations.

Some of their products are Angle table lamp, one of the oldest, and the new Lean floor lamp and Triangle pendant lamp are brand new! They look so simple but lovely at the same time!

They now work with leading architects and designers and sell their pieces for projects around the world.
