The International Contemporary Furniture Fair is going to be happening at Javits Center, NY from the 21st to the 24th of May and there are many appealing reasons why you should take the days off and attend this amazing interior design show.

More than 800 exhibitors from all over the world will be displaying their “contemporary furniture, seating, carpet and flooring, lighting, outdoor furniture, materials, wall coverings, accessories, textiles, and kitchen and bath for residential and commercial interiors”. If you’re looking for the right pieces to finish your contemporary design project, then you know you’ll find them here!

Contemporary lighting brand DelightFULL will also be exhibiting at the fair during the four days. You can make sure to see their bright stand #956. Apart from their classic designs that you surely already know very well by now, they’ll also be displaying some of their latest and most recent designs.

In 2017, the fair “continues its 12th-year partnership with Bernhardt Design to bring the next crop of emerging designers shaping design to the forefront through the juried ICFF Studio competition.” This is an opportunity for young and bold designers to stand in a class of their own. To enter the competition, a designer must have a working prototype that is not in commercial production, which will then be reviewed by established industry professionals.

Throughout the four days of the fair, you’ll be able to attend multiple ‘Talks’ about contemporary interior design. Different and very influential people from the design world will be there sharing their insights on multiple subjects, from the state of interior design today to future perspectives and even virtual reality!

From the 21st to the 24th, more than 165,000 net square feet of the Javits Center will be abuzz with more than 35,000 interior designers, architects, retailers, representatives, distributors, facility managers, developers, manufacturers, store designers, and visual merchandisers. However, on the last day, ICFF opens its doors to the general public, as well.
