Industrial Apartment in Poznan with Contemporary Pendant Lamps

What used to be a boring old building overlooking the city of Poznan, Poland, was turned into a modern and industrial-inspired apartment with bold details and incredible contemporary pendant lamps. Mili Młodzi Ludzie redid the layout of the apartment in order to create a more cohesive atmosphere and to take better advantage of all of the windows. An extra layer was added to the interior design for depth. This was done with the living room cabinets by outfitting the built-in cabinets with geometric door fronts.

The new layout features an open living and dining room with uninterrupted window views in the corner of the apartment. Having been involved in the project since the conception and construction phase, the designers were more easily allowed to incorporate their ideas, as well as keeping some of the raw, industrial elements that add charm to the space.

One of the most amazing and unique features in the whole apartment is probably the existence of a… guitar room. This specific room has two walls made of glass so the sight lines are kept open, and can be entered from either side, which gives the apartment more of an open feel and lets light further into the interior.

The living room is also full of light, which is emphasized by the use of light wood and very minimalist elements, much like what would happen in a Scandinavian home.
