The contemporary apartment was completely revamped by the French interior design firm Batiik Studio. What was previously a run-down apartment in Paris was transformed into a loft type of home.

Some of the features of the old apartment were kept intact, such as the walls that were kept in most of their original state. The main designer created a ‘box’ that houses the bed and provides much-needed storage.

The colours, while neutral provide what the room needs. The black provides intimacy while the beige colour provides the warmth. A patterned bed covering adds a bit of style to the minimalist decor.

To bring a light into the bedroom a mid-century modern wall lamp was brought into the decor.
