“Raise your hand” if you want to know a little bit more about the singer! Contemporary Lighting ‘s Blog decided to write this specific article, because we want to do a tribute to the singer that celebrates her 48th anniversary of death tomorrow. Yes, we know! It’s unbelievable when we think that we lost this deep voice almost half a century ago! However, let’s talk about good things and the remarkable footprint she left!
Janis Joplin was born on the 19th of January, 1943, and she was interested in music at an early age. However she only began her career, in 1966, when we made part of the Big Brother and the Holding Company. In the same year, she began her solo career and the album Cheap Thrills was a huge success!
“Cry Baby” … On the 4th of October of 1970, Janis was found dead at the early age of 27, but her voice would never die! DeligthFULL’s design team decided to be inspired by this great singer and designed a lighting piece to do a tribute to her, and it couldn’t be more exquisite!
Janis Floor Lamp is an incredible lighting design piece, inspired by the first female rock star! It has a mid-century style and the classic design from the fifties is something that everyone sees immediately!
It’s handmade in brass, and you can choose a different finish, number of bulbs, type of bulbs, and even the size of your floor lamp!
This lamp will enlighten your room and your home décor!
The best part is that Janis Lamp has another category: Table Lamp. Janis Table Lamp is the right choice of lamp to display in your living room or lobby!
We hope that you enjoyed this tribute to Janis Joplin, and we leave the room with a quote of hers:
“The more you live, the less you die!” Janis Joplin
