Today we honor a person that helped influence modern jazz during the mid-20th century! We are talking about Jake Hanna, a famous jazz drummer that influenced mid-century jazz bands and modern bands alike!

Jake Hanna, throughout his life,  worked for multiple jazz bands, offering his unique style and drum skills to any band that wanted to “jam” alongside him. He recorded several albums with Carl Fontana for Concor Jazz in the mid-1970s and also played in Supersax.
