FOR YOUR INTEREST IN CONTEMPORARY LIGHTING
The pandemic crisis has affected us all, and with social distancing, our favorite design tradeshows have been canceled this years. Fortunately for us, Maison et Objet – one of the leading design fairs of the world – has decided to go digital and we’re days away from the first virtual edition of the fair! To remember good old times, we decided to invite in our time machine so we can go back in time and check out the best moments of Maison et objet Paris previous editions. However that is not all of it! Contemporary Lighting Blog has also decided to give you infomation in advance about the future digital edition, so you won’t miss anything! Keep scrolling!
Maison et Objet 2020 is bringing the experience online from the 4th to the 18th of September, 2020. Digital showrooms, digital talks, and much more! First, let’s check what the physical design tradeshows offered in the past couple of years! Maison et Objet Paris was considered the meeting point of all design experts and lovers. With to editions during the year, the first one would reveal all the design trends for the year, whiel the second one, in September, would let visitors know all about design novelties and new design products from renowned brands from all over the world.
The best furnishing and lighting brands wouldn’t miss the chance to present their new collections, and establish important relations with clients and new partners.
From modern to vintage and mid-century brands, there were products an styles for every tastes! Some of the most famous brands of the lighting and furnishing market never missed the shot to attend the fair. One good example is the mid-century lighting brand, DelightFULL, that always join forces with Essential Home, in order to create the perfect mid-century ambiance, where visitors can relax in an elegant environment inspired by the golden years of the fifties. These are some of the best stands from previous editions:

All the lighting pieces were named and inpired by great jazz icons, and it’s impossible not to feel the groove and the will to let DelightFULL enlighten our world, and house, of course! Lighting has become one of the most important features of a home renovation, or interior design project (whether it’s residential, contract or commercial), and choosing the right lighting brand is crucial. Besides that, all the lamps are handmade by talented artisans that still use ancient techniques from the past to produce these masterpieces, in order to continue elevating design and craftsmanship. The company offers its clients to change the color, finish, size, type of bulb and temperature of the light. This way, any lighting design can be incorporated in your next design project. The brand took this opportunity to launch some of the best lighting designs, bring back the classics, and it also has celebrated its 10th anniversary with Maison et Objet’s visitors in 2019!

DIGITAL TALKS
Maison&Objet expert web talks are here to help you chart a way forward! The concept of house has change after the pandemic crisis: it’s no longer the place where we live with our bevoled ones and recharge the batteries for the daily basis. It has to serve different purposes now, and rooms don’t have a specific designation no more. We can have a meal in the home office, and be working on the kitchen island.
