A newly renovated family house in California was renovated by the décor influencer, Amber Lewis, and today she is ready to give a tour of her amazing mid-century escape!

The renowned interior designer and her husband actually bought this 1,500-square-foot, 1950s property in 2016, but have decided to fully renovate it and give it her unique signature style. Lewis is passionate about noble materials such as wood and mature oak, and this was the reason why she felt in love for the Woodland Hill’s house in the first place.

These massive reconfigurations started in 2018 and the final result was a beautiful ‘a 4,000-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath final product.’ The home renovation ended in March, “right in time for my life to blow up.” The designer is, of course, referring to the global pandemic that destroyed our lives, and worse than that, she was received a diagnosis of multiple scleroses this spring.

The year 2020 is definitely being a change for all of us, specially for Amber. But despite the ongoing life challenges, the designer launched a special home collection, in partnership with Anthropologie for this fall; and opened a new outpost of her Shoppe Amber Interiors in Newport Beach this summer.
