This week, we have selected a very special lamp to be featured in our ‘Best Contemporary Lighting‘ signature. It just so happens to be DelightFULL’s product of the week, so it is being celebrated in a special way by the mid-century brand. Today we are talking about Etta Round suspension lamp and chandelier, which are essentially great lighting designs with a mid-century modern twist that can light up a whole room.

Much like Etta, DelightFULL’s lights intend to inspire everyone. And this is pretty much the story of how Etta lighting designs came to be. They are a memorial to the matriarch of the blues, a woman that represents everything that is classy, sophisticated and refined. Therefore, all the pieces from the Etta family aim to give a romantic touch to every single living interior, reminding you of her energy and determination.

Probably the most famous version of them all, Etta round in this glossy copper finish is just something out of this world. It is, without a doubt, a luxurious chandelier that provides a soft and warm light through its layers, giving a romantic ambiance to any setting.

All the brass leaves are shaped and assembled by hand, making it much more unique. You can see them in detail in the photo above, that show just how perfect each leaf turns out.

Of course, there is a classic brass, with a gold plated finish version of the lamp. Gathering inspiration from the mid-century era and the iconic Etta James, DelightFULL couldn’t leave any of the glamour out, trying to capture all the best from Ms. James.

There is also this gorgeous nickel plated version of the Etta round. It looks great in a more contemporary home or, even better, an incredible hotel lobby in one of Europe’s biggest capitals! We can already see it shine…
