Want to give your house a lighting touch straight from the 90s? Keep your eyes out for this amazing 90s Décor!
The 90s was an amazing decade that brought us many pop music masterminds and unforgettable trends, but regarding home décor, it didn’t really stand out. We may remember everything was Tuscan-styled, there was chintz on every wall and blow-up furniture was a thing. There’s no surprise how we shifted into the 2000s with relatively calm. However, now looking back, we miss the nostalgia of our childhood memories attached to our old 90s Décor. These trends remind us of another life, and today we’ll help you so you can bring them back to your house!
Many 90s trends seem straight out of a dollhouse. Canopy beds, with an excess of ruffles and fairy lights, and surrounded by fancy wall colours (in a watercolour style or wallpaper). Soft colours are popular and in every teenage girl’s bedroom, and since they go so well with golden pieces, we can’t deny how much we love it.
Soft colours are really big and, therefore, so are pastel tones. Everyone is familiar with blush or, as it is also known for, Millennial pink. However, you can expect to also look around and see mint green, lilac and egg-blue. Hunter green, though it is a dark colour, was also very popular, especially in greenery. It goes well with both golden pieces and the pastel tones of the room!
Even though blonde wood is somewhat popular (especially in airy, open-floor houses), dark hardwoods continue to steal the show. And with them, come brown walls. It takes a while to get the perfect shade of brown, since it is a risky move, but don’t be so quick to judge and refuse!
