“Whilst a rigorous architectural approach to space planning, form making and detailing is evident in all of Studio Daminato‘s work, there is also a constant exploration of design language together with a varied use of project-specific concepts, materials and colour palettes. Along with this is our belief in the longevity of well-conceived design solutions. The Studio’s holistic approach to design also means that a project is fully managed from the overall design concept stage through to the detailing and design of bespoke furniture, light fittings, textiles and objects”
The key of success is the attention to detail and the best selection of furniture and lighting from the best design brands all over the world. This secluded private residence is a great family escape. A Scandinavian style décor that will make you relax due to the chosen features – clean lines, curved shapes, neutral color palette, and mid-century furnishing and lighting.

“Multiple floors are connected by open voids, light wells, a sculptural staircase and gallery spaces that provide a setting for the owner’s art and furniture collections. Bedroom and bathroom suites, intimate libraries and study rooms provide quiet solitude whilst more communal spaces such as living and dining salons, games rooms, indoor and outdoor health facilities, allow for more social interaction. (…) Fabric textiles providing a calm setting for custom-designed furniture, cabinetry and fittings by Studio Daminato with other furnishings including restored mid-century icons throughout the home”

Contemporary means ‘at the moment’, which makes this style particularly hard to define. Dating back to the 1970s, this style is unique because it borrows elements from many other aesthetics. In it, you can see nods to modern, traditional, art deco and even futuristic design. At the end, it means that contemporary style is always evolving, and the team does its best to be always updated with the latest design trends. Nowadays, it can be defined by neutral colors, clean an curved lines and minimalism. Open spaces are also a strong architecture feature, that we can see here with the windowed walls showing the amazing view.
Natural light is one of the top features of mid-century design that was brought to the contemporary style. A wise architecture choice that brings the outside to the inside.
