This time we’re coming to you with a hospitality project. In fact, it’s much more than that. This adorable Scandinavian-inspired coffee shop in Sopot, Poland is filled with some of the trendiest contemporary lampsyou can think of. Not only is its decor perfect for a rainy afternoon around a great cup of tea and your computer, it’s also fresh, modern and inspiring.
Called the ‘Fanaberia Crepes & Cafe’, this bright and very cheerful coffee shop was brilliantly designed by PB / Studio. They made a great work at mixing off-white shades with bolder accents of azure, navy, and ginger, all of which reference the crepes they serve along with its seaside resort locale.
Located by the seaside, the navy shade was a way to give a nice nod to all things nautical, along with the use of sisal rope and rattan surfaces for added texture. Similarly, the lighter blues mimic the colors of the nearby ocean, while the whitened oak was used in the spirit of traditional summer resort architecture in Sopot.
