Organized by the nonetheless Covet Group, the Luxury Design and Craftsmanship Summit 2018is going to happen in one of the most visited cities in Europe – Oporto. A personal favourite of ours, the city is going to welcome the summit from the 20th to the 21st of June 2018!
With a set of curated guests, the luxury design summit will bring together some of the most creative minds in the luxury design world. Expect designers, makers, brands to make a welcoming environment to talk about how craftsmanship and the ancient arts combine together in the new era of design and luxury.
So, all of the details shall we? The event will be at Pavilhão Multiusos de Gondomar, designed by the Pritzker Winners, Architect Álvaro Siza Vieira and it will count with a live showcase of the master artisans of azulejo – tile-, wood and the ancient crafts that the summit is going to present. Why Gondomar though? Known in Portugal for its love and devotion to the craftsmanship, the city is mostly known for its incredible jewellery industry that is handmade in filigree.
